After the stupendous success of Bigg Boss OTT 2, the audience is now gearing up for Bigg Boss 17 which will be hosted by Salman Khan. Interestingly, the speculations are rife about who will be participating in the popular reality show. Several celeb names are doing the rounds which has got the audience excited about Bigg Boss 17.

Amid this, a new name has joined the list of speculative contestants which is breaking the internet now. As per a recent buzz, Bigg Boss 17 will be having a Sumbul Touqeer Khan connection as a person close to her will be participating in the show. Wondering who it is? Well, if you are guessing it is her former BFF Fahmaan Khan, then he isn't going to be a part of Bigg Boss 17.

Instead, it will be Sumbul Touqeer Khan's father Touqeer Hassan Khan. Yes! You read it right. According to a report published in Telly Chakkar, Touqeer Hassan Khan has been approached for Bigg Boss 17 and the talks are on between him and the makers.

For the uninitiated, Touqeer Hassan was seen making an appearance on Bigg Boss 16 wherein Sumbul was seen as a contestant. He was seen rooting for Sumbul and his appearance did make headlines for more than one reason. And if he signs up for Bigg Boss 17, it will be interesting to see how he will compete with the fellow contestants.

Besides, Touqeer Hassan's participation in Bigg Boss 17 will also serve as a chance for Sumbul's return to BB house. As of now, the diva is busy working on her upcoming show Kavya: Ek Jabza Ek Junoon wherein Sumbul will play the role of IAS office. The show is set to launch soon.

Talking about Bigg Boss 17 contestants, it is reported that Kanwar Dhillon, Aishwarya Sharma, Alice Kaushik, Arjit Taneja, Neil Bhatt, Seema Haider-Sachin etc will be participating in the show. The media reports also suggest that the popular reality show will be coming with the theme of Couples vs Singles and will be having its grand launch on September 30.
