Bigg Boss 17 Update: Hosted by Salman Khan, Bigg Boss OTT 2 is finally coming to an end after a run of eight weeks on Jio Cinema. After Jiya Shankar's mid-week elimination, Abhishek Malhan aka Fukra Insaan, Elvish Yadav, Manisha Rani, Pooja Bhatt, and Bebika Dhurve becoming the top five finalists of BB OTT 2.

As the grand finale of Bigg Boss OTT 2 is scheduled for August 14 (Monday), the loyal fans of Salman Khan's controversial reality show are aleady awaiting the premiere of the seventeenth season of Bigg Boss. While the makers are yet to make an official announcement regarding the same, there are speculations that Bigg Boss 17 might premiere on Colors TV next month.

Last time, Bigg Boss OTT finalists Nishat Bhat, Pratik Sehajpal, and Shamita Shetty entered the main Bigg Boss house. This time too, there are rumours about the possibility of Bigg Boss OTT 2 finalists' Fukra Insaan, Elvish Yadav, Manisha Rani, and Bebika Dhurve, entry in Bigg Boss 17.

NO BIGG BOSS OTT 2 CONTESTANT YET CONFIRMED FOR BB 17

While the development has left their fans excited, it looks like ther's still no clarity on their participation in the TV version of Bigg Boss yet. The Khabri, popular Twitter handle that shares all the latest updates related to Bigg Boss, has revealed that no Bigg Boss OTT 2 contestant is yet confirmed for BB 17. Yes, you read that right!

The tweet read, "There is no confirmed contestant for #BiggBoss17 among OTT2 contestants as of now. Fake peddlers News se savdhaan rahen."

AFTER BIGG BOSS 16 SUCCESS, FANS EXCITED FOR BIGG BOSS 17

For those who are unaware, Bigg Boss 16 fetched great numbers on the TRP front and was among the most-successful seasons in the show's history with popular names like Sumbul Touqeer Khan, Ankit Gupta, Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, and Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia among others seen as contestants. Now, it'll be interesting to see if Bigg Boss 17 will be as successful as Bigg Boss 16 or not.
