Bigg Boss 17 Update: Following the immense success of both Bigg Boss 16 and Bigg Boss OTT 2, the makers of India's hugely popular reality show are gearing up to present the seventeenth season of this controversial spectacle on Colors TV. With BB 17 set to grace the airwaves in the upcoming month, the production team has already been busy with the selection of well-known personalities.

As disclosed exclusively by Filmibeat, the forthcoming season is rumored to embrace a Singles Vs Couples theme. Well-known celebrities including Kanwar Dhillon, Alice Kaushik, Samarth Jurel, Seema Haider, and Sachin Meena have received offers to participate in the show.

Although the confirmed names of Bigg Boss 17 contestants are still under wraps, Ankit Gupta and Priyanka Chahar Choudhary's Udaariyaan co-star Isha Malviya recently revealed doing BB 17 and became the first official contestant of the show.

RADHAKRISHN LEADS SUMEDH & MALLIKA IN BIGG BOSS 27?

While the developments have left Bigg Boss fans excited about the new season, the latest buzz suggests that the makers have now reached out to a popular onscreen TV couple. Well, we're talking about Sumedh Mudgalkar who became a household name after essaying the lead role in Star Bharat's popular show RadhaKrishn.

Not just that, the team of Bigg Boss 17 has also approached Sumedh's RadhaKrishn co-star Mallika Singh. According to a BollywoodMDB report, Sumedh and Mallika had a discussion with the makers and are currently deliberating their decision.

SUMEDH-MALLIKA PARTICIPATING IN BB 17 AS A COUPLE?

As mentioned earlier, this year's theme of Bigg Boss is going to be Singles Vs Couples, the development has left us wondering if Sumedh and Mallika are going to enter the show as a couple. We're saying so because there have been constant speculations about the duo being in love with each other in real life. However, they've always maintained that they're just close friends.

If things work out between both parties then Bigg Boss 17 will mark Mallika's reality show debut. Interestingly, Sumedh made his TV debut as a contestant in Dance India Dance 4 in 2013 and Bigg Boss can mark his comeback to the non-fiction space after almost a decade.
