According to a report published in Pinkvilla, it is reported that Karan Johar will be replacing Salman Khan as the host for the weekend ka vaar episodes. The report further suggested that the ace filmmaker will be seen reprimanding the contestants in his own style. On the other hand, while the reason behind Salman Khan skipping the weekend ka vaar episodes has not been revealed, the news came in amid the fresh threats given by gangster Lawrence Bishnoi

Reportedly, after Lawrence Bishnoi, who recently attacked Punjabi singer Gippy Grewal's house in Canada over his close association with Salman, the Tiger 3 actor's security was reviewed by the Mumbai police. While Salman has been given Y plus security, he has been asked to be careful. "We have also written to the social media platform to check where the post has been generated from, whether the social media accounts is genuine of Bishnoi and who handles it as Bishnoi is in jail. We are trying to find the Internet protocol address," a police officer had reportedly stated.

Meanwhile, Bigg Boss 17 is set to witness an intense fight for survival as eight contestants have been nominated for elimination this week.
