After witnessing the positive response to Tejasswi Prakash's Naagin 6, Ekta Kapoor reunited with Colors TV for the recently-launched supernatural drama Bekaboo. Featuring Bigg Boss 16 finalist Shalin Bhanot and Eisha Singh in the lead roles, the show has been getting a positive response so far.
While people are liking Shalin as Ranav, did you know that the well-known TV star and Bigg Boss 7 contestant Kushal Tandon was confirmed to play the lead role in it? Yes, you read that right!
KUSHAL TANDON BAGS EKTA KAPOOR'S UPCOMING LOVE STORY?
In fact, Kushal himself had revealed bagging the show. However, the deal between him and the makers later fell through. Well, the latest buzz suggests that the TV star has now been locked to play the main male lead in a new love story produced by Ekta Kapoor for a different channel. Yes, you read that right!
Revealing the same, a source informed ETimes, "It's a love story and Kushal is perfect for the part. The character will have a lot of shades. The production house is looking out for the female protagonist and the rest of the casting is underway, too. The show is expected to go on floors by the mid of next month."
KUSHAL TANDON'S TV COMEBACK AFTER SIX YEARS
After the success of Beyhadh, where fans loved his chemistry with Jennifer Winget, Kushal Tandon took a break from television and focused on his restaurant business. However, with his reported return to television, fans are excited to see him on screen once again as he's going to return to the small screen after six long years. However, an official announcement is still awaited.
In the meantime, Kushal Tandon enjoyed working on the OTT platform which allowed him to have time for other things in life. After Beyhadh, he starred in web shows like Bebaakee and Hum, as well as the tech horror film Unlock alongside Hina Khan.
