Bigg Boss OTT 2: Abhishek Malhan's mother Dimple Malhan has expressed her displeasure over the way people targeted her and accused her of 'character assassinating' Jiya Shankar when she entered the Bigg Boss OTT 2 house during Family Week. While Fukra Insaan fans loved her stay in the show, a certain section of social media users alleged that she took a dig at Jiya while talking with Avinash Sachdev.

A video went viral on Twitter (now known as X) where Dimple Malhan mentioned Jiya Shankar's name as Avinash discussed her behaviour with him during the initial stage of the game. She has now finally reacted to netizens accusing her of passing a derogatory remark about the Pishachini actress.

Dimple Malahn, who is also a YouTuber, said that she saw videos where it was alleged that she spoke about Jiya Shankar's character. She maintained that she tried to convince Avinash thay Jiya was trying to mend their friendship but he didn't understand her point.

"Kuch videos maine dekhe jaha kaha gaya maine Jiya Shankar ke character par galat bola hai. Main jab ghar mein gayi thi toh Avinash Sachdev ko Samjha rahi thi ki jiya dosti sabit karne ke kis koshish kar rahi thi par Avinash nahi samjha," she was quoted as saying by Bollywood Spy.

Fukra Insaan's mom said that her words were twisted to create a false narrative. She revealed the true intent behind her words, stating that she could never speak such a thing against a girl as she herself is a mother.

"Koi toh chahiye hota hai se mera matlab ye tha ki koi dost chahiye ghar me jaise Manisha Rani or Abhishek the. Par iss cheez ko manipulate karke aisa dikhaya ki maine Jiya ke character par bola hai. Main kabhi nahi bol sakti kyunki main khud ek ladki ki maa hu," she added.

On a related note, Fukra Insaan and Jiya Shankar have teamed up for a new music video. While an official announcement is yet to be made, gossip mills suggest that the two Bigg Boss OTT 2 stars have been confirmed for the song.

"It will be a romantic set-up. The shooting for the music video will commence from tomorrow. Both Jiya and Abhishek are stationed in Chandigarh and they will have a mock shoot today followed by the actual filming on Thursday (August 31). It will be a treat for all the AbhiYa fans," a source exclusively told Filmibeat.
