In a viral video, she can be seen suffering from a panic attack following the nomination task. The Pishachini actress requested the makers to allow her to exit the BB house after she faced difficulty in breathing. She talked about the same, urging Bigg Boss to do something.

"I cannot breathe. Mujhe bahar nikalna hai. Bigg Boss please, I cannot, please mujhe bahar nikale," Jiya said in the promo that was released by the official Twitter handle of JioCinema. Akanksha Puri tried to comfort her but Jiya broke down into tears after the task.
