Bigg Boss OTT 2 Eviction: The second season of Jio Cinema's Bigg OTT, hosted by Salman Khan, premiered last week and the controversial reality show has been getting more interesting and entertaining with each passing day.

Many well-known names including Pooja Bhatt, Cyrus Broacha, Falaq Naaz, Avinash Sachdev, Akanksha Puri, Abhishek Malhan, Palak Purswani, Jad Hadid, Manisha Rani, Jiya Shankar, and Bebika Dhurve among others got locked inside the Bigg Boss house last week amid huge buzz and expectation.

The makers of BB OTT 2 are dedicatedly trying to ensure the show remains highly engaging for viewers by incorporating twists in every episode. While contestants like Bebika and Abhishek are making the right kind of noise, Jiya Shankar, and Aaliya Siddiqui among others are still trying to find their footing in the show.

BIGG BOSS OTT 2: NOMINATED CONTESTANTS OF THE WEEK

Earlier in the week, after the eviction of Puneet Superstar, Bigg Boss introduced the first-ever nominations task of the season after which four housemates got nominated for elimination - Jiya Shankar, Avinash Sachdev, Bebika Dhurve, and Palak Purswani.

Well, one of the nominated contestants has finally bid adieu to the reality show in just six days. In tonight's (June 25) episode of Weekend Ka Vaar, Salman finally announced the name of the housemate who received the least amount of fans from the viewers.

PALAK PURSWANI EVICTED FROM BIGG BOSS OTT 2 IN THE FIRST WEEK

Well, she is none other than TV star Palak Purswani. Yes, you read that right! Before entering the Bigg Boss OTT 2 house, Palak had gained significant attention as one of the contestants to watch out for. This was primarily due to her strong personality and the presence of her ex-boyfriend, Avinash Sachdeva, who is also a contestant on the show.

The combination of these two former partners residing under the same roof raised expectations of dramatic encounters within the Bigg Boss OTT 2 house. However, a section of viewers must be disappointed with her elimination so soon.

Even before Palak could step foot into the Bigg Boss OTT 2 house, she faced a setback by failing to comply with the terms and conditions outlined in the show's contract. During the introduction round, Salman Khan informed her that she had violated the contract clauses by messaging her friends about her participation in the show and asking them to vote for her. To the surprise of both Palak and the viewers, Salman Khan even presented evidence of her messages and chats, confirming her actions.
