Falaq Naaz has been eliminated from Bigg Boss OTT 2 and her journey on the popular reality show has been the talk of the town. While the actress grabbed a lot of eyeballs with her stint, her controversy with Abhishek Malhan made several heads turn.

For the uninitiated, Falaq faced a lot of criticism after she reportedly used the words 'g&y' and 'janani' for Abhishek Malhan aka Fukra Insaan post a tiff. And while her words didn't go down well with Abhishek's fans and family and Falaq faced a lot of wrath.

And now that Falaq has been evicted from the popular reality show, she has finally addressed the issue and explained that she made the statement in a fun way. She also emphasised that Abhishek does talk like that and she can't help it.

Falaq made this big statement during her recent interview with the Hindustan Times. She said, "Janani mere liye aisa koi word nahi hai. Agar mai kisi ladke ko bolti tum bitch behave kar rahe ho, woh chalta kisiko? Sophicated way me, ek mazak ki tarah bola tha. Waha pe hasi-mazak ho raha tha. I told him to his face and he didn't mind. Why is everyone bothered?"

Falaq further asserted that Abhishek would have been outspoken about it if he would have felt bad and that she doesn't mind apologising as well. "Janani koi bura word nahi hai. Agar hum ladki ko tomboy bol sakte hai, woh chalta hai, ladke ko janani bol diya toh woh kiu nahi chal sakta? If you can tell a girl you have launde wale harkat then why can't you say it for a guy? It's completely normal. Karta hai woh baat. What should I say? You tell me. He would have told me if he felt bad. Mujhe maafi mangne me koi problem nahi hai. I would have apologised," the actress added.

Meanwhile, Falaq has also opened up about her bond with Avinash Sachdev and said that she would like to take her own sweet time to take things ahead. " I respect that pure dil se, but main apna time lungi. Baki dosti hai, achi dosti hai, achi understanding hai. Baki hum log waqt de rahe hain... Dekhte hain," Falaq was quoted saying.
