Bigg Boss OTT 2 Update: Since the highly anticipated premiere of Salman Khan's controversial reality show three days ago, the makers are leaving no stone unturned to amplify the entertainment quotient for the loyal audience of Bigg Boss OTT's second season.

In the recent episode (June 18), social media sensation Puneet Kumar aka Puneet Superstar stirred frustration among his fellow housemates with his mischievous behavior. Despite Bigg Boss' warning, Puneet persisted with his antics, leading his co-contestants to collectively decide to evict him from the Bigg Boss OTT 2 house. They made it clear that they wouldn't be able to adjust to his actions.

In tonight's (June 19) episode, the first nominations process will be aired after which four contestants will get nominated for elimination this week - Avinash Sachdev, Palak Purswani, Jiya Shankar, and Bebika Dhurve.

BIGG BOSS OTT 2: FIRST CAPTAINCY TASK AND CONTENDERS

Well, after the nominations, a new task for the first captain of Bigg Boss OTT 2 will be held. According to the latest buzz, two popular contestants will become the contenders for the show's first captaincy.

Reportedly, Bigg Boss announces the captaincy task in which Cyrus and Abhishek were given responsibility for producing video content within the house, collaborating with their chosen participants.

According to The Khabri, the popular Twitter handle that shares all the interesting updates related to Bigg Boss OTT 2, Abhishek aka Fukra Insaan chose Akanksha Puri for the task while Cyrus took Falaq's name. So, yes, Akanksha and Falaq became the contenders for first week captaincy.

Revealing the same, the tweet read, "#BiggBossOTT2 CaptaincyTask #FukraInsaan Chooses #AkankshaPuri and #CyrusBroacha chose #FalaqNaaz for the captaincy contendership. Both will now make videos and winner among those 2 females will be captain."

As suggested in the tweet, Akanksha and Falaq made videos and the live viewers one among them as the first captain of Bigg Boss OTT 2. Well, there are speculations tha Falaq Naaz has become the show's first captain. However, an official announcement is still awaited.
