Bigg Boss OTT 2 update: Salman Khan's reality show is known for evoking emotions as fans love to support their favourite stars. However, at times, they end up crossing the line. Something similar happened when certain Instagram users attacked Jiya Shankar's mother in the comments section. The majority of them used Elvish Yadav's photo as their display picture while slamming Jiya's mom.

This is not the first time when such an incident happened. Avinash Sachdev's team had to issue a statement, urging cyber police to act against the social media users, who targeted his family members and issued death and rape threats. His manager Nidhi Gupta alleged that Elvish Yadav fans were threatening and sharing hateful DMs.

"These so called fans have crossed all the set boundaries and gone ahead to call Avinash's Family , Friends and Team names in the most absurd language possible. Death and Rape threats have been made to his closed ones. A game needs to be played like a game and a gentleman with values would know that," the statement read.

We strongly believe that such people should not call themselves fans as they are harming the goodwill and reputation of the entire fandom, which works hard to support their favourite celebrity.

As a few fans used derogatory words against Jiya Shankar's mother, Fukra Insaan's sister Prerna Malhan took a stand for her. She slammed the trolls, who abused her mother and questioned her 'upbringing'. Prerna, who is also a popular YouTuber, lashed out at the trolls for dragging families in feuds on social media.

Prerna Malhan, who has been supporting her brother Abhishek Malhan since day one, took a stand for Jiya's mom as her comments section has been filled with abuse.

"Bhai ye sab mat karo! Families ko bich me mat lao. It's just a show! (Sab baatein ek taraf kiske parents ko hate dena kaha sahi hai bhai) Baki keep supporting your favorites," WandererHubs tweeted as she expressed her displeasure over the trolls, who posted abusive comments on the posts.

On a related note, Fukra Insaan and Elvish Yadav are said to be safe from the nomination while Jiya Shankar is reportedly in the danger zone.
