Bigg Boss OTT 2 has been synonymous with controversies since the first day. Amid the frequent tiffs in the house, Jiya Shankar and Elvish Yadav's tiff has raised a lot of eyebrows. It so happened that Jiya had added handwash to Elvish Yadav's drinking water during one of their tiffs.

This has left everyone shocked and Jiya faced a lot of criticism. In fact, even host Salman Khan had schooled the Pishachini actress for her action following which Jiya was seen apologising to Elvish and his mother on the popular reality show.

And now, as Bigg Boss OTT 2 is witnessing family week these days, Jiya Shankar's mother, who had entered the BB house, reacted to the big controversy. She was seen showering immense love on Elvish and even apologised to Elvish on Jiya's behalf.

During the conversation, Jiya's mom stated, "Isne aapko jo paani me mila ke diya, maine bola baap re! Jiya ne kya kia. Jiya vaisi nahi hai, lekin aisi pagalpanti kaise kar sakti hai. Baad me jo unhone sorry bola, so main bhi sorry bolti hu aapko. Koi bhi maa ko acha nahi lagega ki mere bete ko aisa koi pilaye. Wo aisi hai nahi ladki".

Earlier, Elvish's mother had also slammed Jiya for her action and stated, "Ye to badtameezi hai ek tarah ki. Hum balak balak kar rhe, usne sir se paani utaar dia. Ek glass paani agar nahi pilana to mat pilao.. koi dikkat na hai. Wo funny way me kar raha hai kaam jaisa uska nature hai. Abhi tak hum keh rahe koi baat na humare balak hain. Dusron ko apna maan rahe hain aur wahi gaddari kar rahe hain".

Meanwhile, Jiya's mother also asked Jiya to focus on her game in the show than making any relationships. She told her to stay strong and play the game.

To note, Jiya Shankar is currently in the danger zone as she has been nominated with Jad Hadid, Avinash Sachdev and Manisha Rani. It will be interesting to see who will get evicted from the Bigg Boss house this week.
