She reached top 6 in Bigg Boss OTT 2, showcasing her positive and witty side in Salman Khan's reality show. The TV diva once again remained in headlines after she gave a befitting reply to trolls, who attacked her a few days after Bigg Boss finale.

The trolls accused Jiya Shankar of paying media to defame Manisha Rani and create a false narrative against her. Twitter users alleged that the actress was paying media to spread false things about Manisha Rani, who finished as the second runner-up.

Things turned nasty as the trolls breached Jiya Shankar's privacy by sharing fake screenshots with her name. They also shared fake chats on social media, spreading misinformation.

The Pishachini actress shared a post on her her Instagram stories, giving a befitting reply to the trolls through her video."Guys seriously, Manisha fans and Abhisha fans rather, I just want to say like what is going on? Tum log ke favourites hai kisi aur ke koi aur favourites hai, you don't have to do all this," she said in her message.

She took a sarcastic jibe at the trolls, who said that she paid Rs 4 lakh to a paparazzo for defaming someone. "Tumlog bol rahe ho ki mene Viral Bhayani ko 4 lakh diye. 4 lakh nahi bhai 1 crore diye the. Kya bakwass hai ye? Aise galat galat news tumlog faila rahe ho. Dhang se pehle cheeze find out karo na. 1 crore ka tumne 4 lakh kar diya. Itni mehnat isliye hi toh kar rahi thi me," she said.

After Jiya Shankar squashed the rumours, the video went viral on X, formerly known as X. She expressed her displeasure over Abhishek Malhan (Fukra Insaan) and Manisha Rani fans accusing her of paying Rs 4 lakh to defame the latter. The actress, who will be next seen in a music video with Rahul Vaidya, didn't mince her words while slamming the trolls.
