Bigg Boss OTT 2 Update: Two weeks ago, the second season of Bigg Boss OTT finally premiered amid a huge buzz and Jio Cinema and has been constantly making headlines since then. From Akanksha Puri and Jad Hadid's passionate kiss to Bebika Dhurve's nasty fights with co-contestants, Salman Khan hosted show has come out as one of the most explosive seasons in the history of Bigg Boss.

After the recent Weekend Ka Vaar episodes and the eviction of Akanksha Puri, dynamics inside the Bigg Boss OTT 2 house are changing with each passing day. While Bebika and Abhishek Malhan aka Fukra Insaan have solved their differences and are trying to co-exist inside the Bigg Boss house, things are getting worse between the former and Manisha Rani with each passing day.

FUKRA INSAAN REMOVED AS BIGG BOSS OTT 2 CAPTAIN

Amid all this, the house has finally got its new captain. As shown in the live feed, Bigg Boss dismissed Abhishek from captaincy duties due to constant rule breaks and sleeping during the daytime. Later, housemates were given a buzzer task to choose the new captain. As a part of the task, the contestant who presses the buzzer first will get the chance to eliminate a housemate from the captaincy race.

According to reports, Abhishek pressed the buzzer first in four rounds and eliminated Cyrus Broacha, Bebika Durve, and Avinash Sachdev from the race. Later, in the fourth round, Avinash removed Abhishek from the race.

JIYA SHANKAR IS THE NEW CAPTAIN OF BIGG BOSS OTT 2

At last, Avinash eliminated Pooja Bhatt and made Jiya Shankar the new captain of the Bigg Boss house. Yes, you read that right! After Fukra Insaan, the Pishachini star has become the new captain of Bigg Boss OTT 2.

After getting the captaincy, Jiya got saved from elimination this week and she nominated Pooja Bhatt in her place. After this slight change, the final nominated contestants are Jad Hadid, Manisha Rani, Cyrus, Bebika, Avinash, Pooja, and Falaq Naaz. Now, it'll be interesting to see who among them will finally bid adieu to the show this week.
