Bigg Boss OTT 2 Update: After a run of eight weeks, the second season of Bigg Boss OTT is coming to an end next week. Hosted by Salman Khan, the controversial reality show premiered on Jio Cinema in June this year and turned out to be a resounding success.

After Aashika Bhatia's elimination last week, a total of eight contestants are currently residing inside the Bigg Boss OTT 2 house namely Abhishek Malhan aka Fukra Insaan, Jiya Shankar, Elvish Yadav, Pooja Bhatt, Avinash Sachdev, Manisha Rani, Jad Hadid, and Bebika Dhurve.

BIGG BOSS OTT 2: DOUBLE ELIMINATION THIS WEEK?

Earlier this week, during the nominations task, four contestants got nominated for elimination this week - Jiya, Manisha, Jad, and Avinash. While fans were expecting the eviction of one of them, the makers reportedly introduced a twist at the last moment by announcing double elimination.

As per the ongoing reports, two popular contestants have bid adieu to the Bigg Boss house this week. Well, we're talking about handsome hunks of Bigg Boss OTT 2 house - Jad Hadid and Avinash Sachdev. However, an official announcement regarding their eliminations is still awaited from the makers' side.

BIGG BOSS OTT 2: SIX CONTESTANTS IN FINALE WEEK

Earlier this week, Abhishek became the last captain and first finalist of BB OTT 2 house by beating Pooja Bhatt in a task. Later, Elvish Yadav, Bebika Dhurve, and Pooja Bhatt too joined him in the finale week after getting saved from nominations.

If the news of Jad and Avinash's elimination is true, then Manisha and Jiya too have entered the last week. Hence, after a battle of seven weeks, Bigg Boss OTT 2 has finally got its six contestants who've reached the finale week.

Like every season, another mid-week elimination is likely to take place in the last week and one among the final five contestants will finally walk away with the winner's trophy in the finale scheduled to take place on August 14 (Monday).
