Bigg Boss OTT 2 Captaincy Task: Ever since YouTuber Elvish Yadav entered Salman Khan's show as a wildcard contestant last week along with Aashika Bhatia, the second season of Bigg Boss OTT is getting more interesting and entertaining for fans.

Ever since his entry inside the Bigg Boss house, Elvish Yadav has been grabbing a lot of eyeballs thanks to his one-liners and rivalry with Avinash Sachdev and other co-contestants. Within a week, he is emerging as one of the strongest participants in the reality show alongside Abhishek Malhaan aka Fukra Insaan.

BIGG BOSS OTT 2: ELVISH YADAV GETS CAPTAINCY CONTENDERSHIP

During the recent Bigg Boss OTT 2 Weekend Ka Vaar episode, Krushna Abhishek asked housemates to choose one among Elvish and Ashika as the house's assistant. Most of them took Elvish's name and he was doing every work assigned by other housemates for the next two days after the WKV. However, as shown in yesterday's (July 18) live feed, Bigg Boss introduced this week's captaincy task.

As a part of the task, Elvish got a chance to replace Manisha Rani to become the new captain. Bigg Boss made him the dictator of the house who can order his co-contestants to do anything. If he succeeds, the YouTuber will become the new captain.

Today (July 19), the task will go on for the second day post which it'll be revealed whether Elvish has succeeded in it or not. While Avinash, Falaq Naaz, and Jiya Shankar aren't in favor of Elvish becoming the next captain and are not obeying his orders. The Pishachini actress even gave him soap water to drink which irked viewers after which '#shameonjiya' was trending on Twitter.

Now, it'll be interesting to see if he'll become the new captain of the Bigg Boss OTT 2 house after overcoming all the difficulties or not.
