Elvish claimed that he garnered 280 million votes when the voting lines were opened for 15 minutes during the BB grand finale. He made the confession while talking to his friends and the video from the hotel room went viral in no time.

Adding another feather to his cap, Elvish Yadav broke MC Stan's record by getting the highest Instagram live viewers for his session that he conducted on Saturday (August 19). He broke the record as 5.95 lakh concurrent users joined his session, taking him to the number one position in India.

While he is placed at the numero uno spot in the country, Elvish entered the list of highest Instagram live session users by securing the tenth position. MC Stan had garnered 5.41 lakh users and the YouTuber shattered the record by getting 5.95 lakh users.

Sharing his gratitude towards his followers, he said in a statement, "Unbelievable! Went live on Instagram & Ended up smashing records with an insane 5.9 lacs + audience. Your support is beyond words - thank you all for making this unforgettable moment happen."

The Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner expressed his excitement by interacting with his followers during the live session. He said that he could break the record only because the fans supported him throughout his journey.

"Mera phone aur Instagram load nhi le pa raha hai. Isliye mera Instagram live crash hogya. Humne Instagram live session users me sabse phela position haasil kiya. Good news is, humne India ka record tod diya. Aap log na hote toh, na hi ye record tut taa aur nahi hai main hota," he said.
