Bigg Boss OTT 2: Not Elvish Yadav, THIS Contestant Becomes NEW CAPTAIN By Beating Jad Hadid; DEETS Out

Bigg Boss OTT 2 Update: The second season of Bigg Boss OTT has become even more intriguing and enjoyable for fans since the recent entry of YouTuber Elvish Yadav as a wildcard contestant, alongside Aashika Bhatia, last week.

Ever since Elvish Yadav stepped into the Bigg Boss house, he has been captivating viewers with his witty one-liners and engaging in rivalries with Avinash Sachdev and other fellow contestants. While everyone was expecting that he'll become the next captain after Bigg Boss made him a dictator and asked him to rule the whole house.

However, in a surprising turn of events, Avinash Sachdev got a secret task through which he challenged Elvish Yadav's captaincy contendership. The TV star succeeded in his task and took away the contendership of Elvish and his group.

BIGG BOSS OTT 2: NEW CAPTAINCY TASK DETAILS

In today's (July 20) live feed, Bigg Boss announced a new task for the final five contenders of this week's captaincy - Avinash Sachdev, Falaq Naaz, Jad Hadid, Pooja Bhatt, and Bebika Dhurve.

In the task, Abhishek Malhan aka Fukra Insaan was the sanchalak while contenders have to put mud on the 'BB' sign made on a task. The contender who puts the mud properly on the 'BB' signed was supposed to become the new captain. Interestingly, the remaining housemates supported their favourite contender by removing the mud from the board of his/her competitors in the taks.

BIGG BOSS OTT 2: POOJA BHATT BECOMES THE NEW CAPTAIN

Jad Hadid won the first round and removed Falaq from the task by removing her picture from another board with the photos of all the contenders in the garden area. In the second and third rounds, Bebika and Avinash were removed respectively. At last, the fight was between Pooja and Jad.

In the fight round, both of them gave their best in the task and other housemates too were supporting their favourite contender by doing their bit. After the buzz, Fukra Insaan finally announced Pooja Bhatt as the winner of the final task. She then removed Jad's photo from the board and became the new captain of the Bigg Boss house.
