While there were reports about Khatron Ke Khiladi 13 star being finalized for the role, he has finally confirmed being a part of Chand Jalne Laga. Confirming the same to ETimes, Sheezan Khan said, "Initially, I had reservations about accepting the offer to join the show midway, especially as the parallel lead. However, my fears vanished when I heard the narration and the upcoming storyline."

As Sheezan is returning to the fiction space after going through a rough patch in his personal life (Tunisha Sharma's death case), he states, "One should know his reality and I understand mine.
