Late Actor Dinesh Phadnis’ LAST Post With CID Co-Stars Dayanand, Shivaji & Others Will Leave You Emotional

The telly world woke up to a heartbreaking news today after a well known actor breathed his last. We are talking about Dinesh Phadnis who became a household name with his performance as Fredericks in Sony TV's iconic show CID. The crime investigative drama also featured Shivaji Satam as ACP Pradyuman, Dayanand Shetty as Daya and Aditya Srivastav as Abhijeet.

Interestingly, CID had ruled the Indian television for around two decades and Dinesh's performance as Fredericks had won millions of hears. And now, as Dinesh Phadnis has passed away, fans are seen getting emotional and are taking to social media to mourn his demise. Ever since the news of Dinesh's demise has surfaced, Dinesh's last pic with his CID co-stars is going viral.

The pic was shared by Dinesh in October wherein he was seen posing with Shivaji Satam, Dayanand Shetty, Narendra Gupta (Dr Salunkhe), Manav Gohil (Inspector Daksh), Ajay Nagrath (Sub-Inspector Pankaj). He captioned the image as, "I am the power". The pic is indeed a priceless nostalgia and is leaving the fans emotional as the CID reunion will never be the same now.

Meanwhile, the news of Dinesh's demise was confirmed by his CID co-star Dayanand Shetty who told the ETimesTV, "Yes, it's true he is no more. It happened around 12:08 am. I am at his residence right now. His last rites will be conducted today at the Daulat Nagar crematorium. Almost everyone from the CID is present right now".

Talking about the work front, Dinesh starrer CID went on air in 1998 and pulled its curtains down in November 2018. Besides, Dinesh was also seen doing a cameo in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah along with movies like Sarfarosh and Super 30.
