DINESH PHADNIS HEALTH UPDATE

According to a report in a portal, Dinesh was taken to the Tunga Hospital in Mumbai after he suffered a heart attack. He is battling for life and has been put on ventilator support. His family members are yet to issue an official statement about his health.

The cast and crew of the show CID were informed about the development yesterday. Several actors visited the hospital to meet his family and ask about his health condition. "Dinesh Phadnis has been battling for life, with ventilator support," a source told IWMBuzz.

Dinesh's condition is said to be a bit better than his critical state on Friday (December 1) night, the report added.

WHO IS DINESH PHADNIS?

Dines Phadnis shot to fame after playing the character of Fredericks in CID. Apart from acting in the show, he has also written a few episodes of BP Singh's series. The 57-year-old featured in films like Aamir Khan starrer Sarfarosh and Hrithik Roshan-Mrunal Thakur's Super 30. Dinesh worked with his CID co-stars Dayanand Shetty and Aditya Srivastava in CIF, which beamed on Dangal.

Dinesh, who won hearts with his role in CID, didn't share anything on social media in the last two-and-a-half weeks. Last month, he visited his followers on Instagram on the occasion of Diwali 2023 by sharing a photo with his daughter. The father-daughter duo can be seen smiling in the picture. The caption for the post read, "wishing you all a very warming and happy Diwali."
