Dalljiet Kaur has been hogging all the limelight ever since she got married to Nikhil Patel. Last month, the Bigg Boss 13 contestant tied the knot with Nikhil in an intimate ceremony in the presence of her family members and close friends. After getting hitched, the two lovebirds jetted off to Kenya along with her son Jaydon. Dalljiet and Jaydon have now shifted base to Nairobi as Nikhil works there.
Dalljiet Kaur was earlier married to Shalin Bhanot, who recently participated in Bigg Boss 16. The former couple got divorced in 2015 after six years of marriage. The actress had accused him of domestic violence, levelling serious allegations against him. The two celebs, who are parents to Jaydon, have remained on cordial terms for the sake of their son.

Nikhil Patel, who shares a good bond with Jaydon, has revealed that he spoke to Shalin Bhanot before marrying Dalljiet. He confirmed that the Naagin 4 actor was happy to know about their marriage, adding that there was 'mutual respect' during their conversation.

The UK-based businessman and investor, while interacting with a portal, said that Shalin told him he could give certain things to Jaydon which he couldn't. Sharing the details about their chat, he added that Shalin was happy about Jaydon's new life.
"He was very happy. He told me you can give him a few things which I cannot and he was happy about Jaydon's new life. There was mutual respect," Nikhil told ETimes.

Shalin Bhanot lost his cool when Archana Gautam dragged his former wife Dalljiet Kaur into their fight, taking a dig at their relationship. He got miffed and even threw the chair in the air, expressing his displeasure over Archana Gautam's antics. The actor, while talking to Bigg Boss, had a breakdown in the confession room.

Shalin Bhanot is currently entertaining the audience with Bekaboo, which went on air on Colors channel on March 18. He is playing the role of Ranav opposite Eisha Singh in the weekend drama, which is produced by Ekta Kapoor.
