Devoleena Bhattacharjee's Saathiya Co-star Passes Away, Lovey Sasan, Tanya Sharma & Others Mourn Her Death

Aparna Kanekar death: The Saath Nibhaana Saathiya actors are grief-stricken as they have lost one of their beloved members. Aparna Kanekar, who played the role of Janaki Baa Modi in Devoleena Bhattacharjee and Mohammad Nazim starrer Saathiya, is no more. Lovey Sasan, who was seen as Paridhi in the hit Star Plus serial, took to social media to inform her followers about her death.

Lovey said that her heart was heavy as she learned about the unfortunate news. She called Aparna the 'most beautiful and strongest individual' she knew. Expressing her grief over demise, the actress shared a picture with her and said that she is blessed to have spent an unforgettable time with the veteran artist. In the photo, she can be seen planting a kiss on Aparna's cheek.

The actress, who is now a proud mommy of two kids, said that Aparna's legacy will live on as she penned a heartfelt note to bid adieu to her favourite co-star. Lovey expressed her pain in the form of words as she paid homage to Aparna Kanekar.

"My heart is very heavy today as I learned the passing of someone very dear to me & a true warrior. Baa you were one of the most beautiful strongest individuals I know inside and out. I am truly blessed for the unforgettable times we were able to share on set and the once in lifetime connections we made. Rest in peace my cutie Baa. You are so loved and so so missed. Your legacy will live on (sic)," Lovey wrote on her official Instagram handle.

Devoleena Bhattacharjee liked the post while other celebrities dropped comments. Tanya Sharma, Bhavini Purohit and Vandana Vittlanee got emotional as they paid their tribute to the veteran actress.

Vandana wrote, "Om Shanti" while Tanya commented, "RIP." Fans have also flooded the comments section with their condolences.

Aparna Kanekar had replaced Jyotsna Karyekar as Janko Baa Modi in 2011. She played the role of five long years.
