Pyar Ke Saat Vachan Dharampatnii Update: After the huge success of Imlie opposite Sumbul Touqeer Khan, TV star Fahmaan Khan returned to the small screen with Ekta Kapoor's Dharampatnii. Amid huge buzz and expectations, the show premiered on Colors TV in November last year amid a crazy buzz and expectations.

While everyone was expecting Pyar Ke Saat Vachan Dharampatnii to do wonders on the TRP front, the daily soap turned out to be a disappointment and has been underperforming in terms of ratings since the beginning despite makers introducing twists and turns from time to time.

Due to the underperformance, the channel had decided to end it in June this year but gave the show an extension at the last moment in the hope of improvement. However, the ratings have only declined in the past few months and the latest rumours suggest that Dharampatnii is set to end later this month.

AKASH JAGGA AKA MALHAR CONFIRMS RE-ENTRY

While the makers are yet to confirm the development, there are rumours about Akash Jagga re-joining the show as Malhar. In a recent interview, the actor has finally confirmed his re-entry in Dharampatnii. Yes, you read that right!

Sharing his excitement about coming back as Malhan, Akash told Tellyexpress, "My character Malhar had not been given a proper ending, leaving the audience guessing what happened to him, so when the creative called and asked if I had time, I was more than game."

Talking about his role, he added, "I am still determining what will happen script-wise. I will come to know once I resume shooting in a couple of days, but there will be many twists and turns."

AKASH JAGGA ON DHARAMPATNII OFF-AIR RUMOURS

On being asked about the reports of Dharampatnii ending soon, Akash Jagga stated, "I too have heard the buzz about the show wrapping up this month itself."

Now, it'll be interesting to see if Akash Jagga's re-entry will give Dharampatnii the much-needed push or not.
