Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai update: Producer Rajan Shahi has expressed his displeasure over certain actors 'creating troubles' on the sets of his hit show. The ace producer said that the production house faced trouble due to certain actors. His latest interview set several tongues wagging as fans wondered if he was talking about Harshad Chopda and Pranali Rathod.

WHAT RAJAN SHAHI SAID ABOUT YEH RISHTA KYA KEHLATA HAI ACTORS?

As Harshad Chopda and Pranali Rathod have just left the serial, the netizens wondered if Rajan was taking a dig at them for throwing tantrums on the sets of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. The producer said that fans are sometimes biased as they believe the popular actors. Calling it 'wrong', he said that the fans don't believe the production house's side as he has not said anything about the same.

"Yeh Rishta ki unit se bata du na. 4-5 logo ne tang kiya hai, kaise kaise tang kiya hai. How much these people troubled to the core? Everybody works in a daily soap, not just the faces who work hard. It's not only about the actors, some writers and editors work as late as 2am. Hum toh sari raat nhi sote. Some people are the same in front of the media and behind the media. Fans are sometimes biased. Hum log clarification nhi dete, unke kiye jo actors keh rahe, vo hi sahi hai," Rajan Shahi told Aaj Tak's Saas Bahut Aur Betiyaan.

WHY HARSHAD CHOPDA-PRANALI RATHOD LEFT YRKKH?

Harshad and Pranali played the respective roles of Abhimanyu and Akshara in the serial. After the makers introduced a generation leap, the duo bid adieu to the show, leaving the audience heartbroken. Ardent fans of the show believed that AbhiRa's story had potential and they deserved a happy ending.

While Harshad's character was assumed dead, Pranali was replaced by Preeti Amin as new Akshara. Both the actors recently reunited for Siddharth Kannan's television roundtable segment in Mumbai.

After the interview went viral, fans wondered if Rajan was talking about Harshad and Pranali. One user tweeted, Well why blaming on actors? He was the one who promised reunion and all and now giving gayan..Why is his gen4 and serials failing now?"

Another wrote, "could have been gutsy like Ekta? And now gen 4 actors r not bad so why doesn't he deliver and same Anupama actors are not creating trouble why is he struggling there? (sic)"

It remains to be seen how Rajan Shahi will react to the backlash on social media. Yeh Rishta now stars Shehzada Dhami and Samridhi Shukla as the new leads.
