Dinesh Phadnis Death: CID Actor’s LAST Instagram Post With His Daughter Goes Viral; Will Leave You In Tears

If you are 90s kid, Shivaji Satam and Aditya Srivastav starrer CID must have been an integral part of your childhood. In fact, the crime investigative drama is touted to be an iconic show that went on to rule the television screens for around 20 years. And now, CID is once again making the headlines and this time for one of the most heartbreaking news as Dinesh Phadnis aka Fredericks passed away today.

According to media reports, Dinesh, who was battling liver damage for a while and was on ventilator support, died of a multipe organ failure. He was 57. The news has sent down a wave of grief across the industry and fans have been taking to social media to share their condolences. As fans have been remembering Dinehs aka Fredericks from CID, the actor's last post on social media is also going viral on the internet.

To note, Dinesh had made his last Instagram post Diwali celebrations and was seen posing with his daughter. It was a selfie which was apparently clicked at their residence and the decoration in the background gave the perfect Diwali vibes. The father duo looked adorable as Dinesh sent Diwali wishes to the fans. Touted to be Dinesh's last pic with his daughter, this pic is going viral and leaving fans emotional. Several Instagram users took to the comment section and mourned his demise.

Meanwhile, the news of Dinesh's demise was confirmed by his CID co-star Dayanand Shetty who told the ETimesTV, "Yes, it's true he is no more. It happened around 12:08 am. I am at his residence right now. His last rites will be conducted today at the Daulat Nagar crematorium. Almost everyone from the CID is present right now".

Meanwhile, talking about the work front, Dinesh became a household name with his stint in CID wherein Shivaji Satam played the role ACP Pradayuman, Dayanand was seen as Daya and Aditya Srivastav played the role of Abhijeet. The show went on air in 1998 and pulled its curtains down in November 2018. Besides, Dinesh was also seen doing a cameo in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah along with movies like Sarfarosh and Super 30.
