Dipika Kakar Has The Cutest Nick Name For Her Newborn Baby; Shoaib Shares A Health Update About His Son

Shoaib Ibrahim and Dipika Kakar are the new parents in the town. The power couple have been blessed with a baby boy on June 21 and they are over the moon with the arrival. For the uninitiated, it was a premature delivery and Shoaib did reveal that the little munchkin is in the incubator as of now.

As the new parents have been overjoyed about the new phase of their lives, they even urged fans to pray for their son's health. And now, the new daddy has shared another update about his little bundle of joy. In a video shared by Shoaib, the actor stated that while his son is still in NICU, his health is improving with every passing day.

Shoaib also revealed that no one in the has seen the baby so far and everyone is eagerly waiting to welcome the munchkin at home. This isn't all. Shoaib also revealed that Dipika had a C-section delivery and she is also recovering well. On the other hand, Dipika also revealed that they visit the baby twice a day.

Interestingly, during the video, the new mommy even revealed a cute nickname she has for her baby. Yes! The Sasural Simar Ka actress has named her munchkin as 'Chotu' so far and was seen addressing the baby with the name in the video. Isn't that cute?

As Shoaib and Dipika have embraced parenthood, the couple has been inundated with best wishes from friends and family. While Shoaib's Ajooni co-stars have also congratulated him, Simran Khanna, who plays the role of Shoaib's sister in law in the show revealed that he wanted to have a girl.

Talking to Telly Masala, Simran stated, "Maine to use bola that ki tujhe beta hoga but he said no, mujhe girl hogi. I said nahi you will have a boy. Phir maine use likhe 'Congratulations Papa'. I told him I am going to call you papa now".
