Shoaib Ibrahim and Dipika Kakar are the new parents in the town and they are over the moon with this new addition to the family. The Sasural Simar Ka couple has been blessed with a baby boy on June 21, a day after Shoaib Ibrahim's 38th birthday.

The proud daddy had shared the big news on social media and revealed that it was a premature delivery. And while the new parents have been inundated with best wishes from friends and family, there have been speculations about the newborn baby given the fact that it has been a premature delivery.

And now, Shoaib has finally shared an update about his newborn son. This happened while his interaction with the media on the sets of Ajooni. Shoaib asserted, "Upar wale ke karam se main aur Dipika mom and dad bane, upar wale ne hume ek ladke se bless kia. Thoda sa premature hai to incubator me hai. Main bas yahi chahunga ki aap sab milke pray kare inshallah ki wo jaldi se thik ho".

Interestingly, Shoaib's birthday celebrations had certainly reached another level as his son arrived just a day next to his special day. Talking about the excitement regarding his birthday, the actor asserted, "Birthday ka excitement mujhse zyada ghar pe log hai unko zyada rehta hai. But pampering har ek ko achi lagti hai aur mere ghar pe sab mujhe bahut zyada pamper karte hain".

To note, Shoaib and Dipika, who tied the knot in February 2018, had announced the pregnancy in November last year with an adorable post. Talking about embracing motherhood, the Sasural Simar Ka actress had earlier stated, "It's a very beautiful phase of life. There was excitement as well as we were scared. We didn't want to hide from anyone and so we thought of taking a break from all our vlogs. The first three months are very delicate and crucial and hence we took precautions".
