Disha Parmar baby girl: Rahul Vaidya is on cloud nine and he has every reason to be. The Indian Idol fame singer has become a proud father of a daughter on Wednesday (September 20). His wife Disha Parmar gave birth to their first child in Mumbai's Criticare hospital on the second day of Ganesh Chaturthi 2023.

What better event than Ganesh Utsav to welcome your first child, isn't it? While the Vaidya family welcomed Lord Ganesha on Tuesday (September 19), Rahul and Disha became parents a day later. The Bigg Boss 14 first runner-up is beaming with joy as he is now a daddy. He had earlier mentioned that he wanted a baby girl and we can say that Ganpati has fulfilled his wish.

The Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 star took to social media to share the good news with his fans. He penned a long post, expressing his gratitude towards the doctors for their constant support during Disha Parmar's delivery.

Rahul also shared Disha Parmar and his newborn daughter's health update. He said that the mother-daughter duo is healthy and doing fine. "We are blessed with a Baby GIRL! The mummy and baby both are healthy and doing perfectly well! We would like to thank our Gynaec @dhruptidedhia who was hands on with the baby right since conceiving till birth and special thanks to our family @dnamjoshi & @masuuma at @criticareasiahospitals for giving us the best delivery experience possible! And we are elated," he wrote on his Instagram handle.

As he shared the heartwarming news, fans flooded the comments section with their messages. The likes of Aly Goni, Drashti Dhami, Nakuul Mehta, Kishwer Merchant extended their warm wishes to the new dad.

DisHul, as fondly called by fans, became mom and dad after two years of marriage. The couple tied the knot in July 2021 after dating each other for a while. Rahul had proposed Disha for marriage when he was locked inside the Bigg Boss 14 house. His confession on national television had captured the attention of the netizens back then.
