Diwali EXCLUSIVE | Keh Doon Tumhei Star Yukti Kapoor On Celebration In Hometown & Childhood Memories

Happy Diwali 2023: The celebration of Diwali, often referred to as the Festival of Lights, has started and is being joyfully embraced globally. Throughout the five-day Diwali festivities, people partake in joyous gatherings, fireworks, feasts, and prayer. Additionally, various rituals are conducted to pay homage to Goddess Lakshmi and various other deities.
The term "Diwali" is derived from "Deepavali," meaning "a row of lights." During this period, individuals light traditional clay oil lamps outside their residences, symbolizing the victory of light over darkness and knowledge over ignorance.
SIGNIFICANCE OF DIWALI
Choti Diwali, also known as Naraka Chaturdashi, is observed a day preceding Diwali. On this day, individuals worship Lord Hanuman, Maa Kali, Lord Krishna, and Yama to seek forgiveness for past transgressions. This year, Diwali is being celebrated today, on November 12th.
Ashi Singh, the television personality presently embodying the character of the female lead, Sumeet, in ZEE TV's popular series Meet, also expressed her reflections on Diwali celebrations and childhood memories associated with the Festival of Lights.
