Diwali: Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin's Ayesha Singh Talks About Love For Lights, Shares This Year’s Plans

The diva is known for her phenomenal work in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin TV serial and her character was immensely loved by one and all. The actress loves celebrating traditional Indian festivals like a true-blue 'desi girl' and well, how could things have been different for a festival as special as Diwali. As Diwali approaches, the gorgeous diva shares her special plans for this year and what's cooking at her end.

The actress shares,"Well, just like every year, this year too Diwali is about being with family and friends at home. However, for more, more than the dressing up part or the celebration part, it is the decoration part and lighting that gets me most excited. Every year, I take the onus on me to lead the charge when it comes to home decoration. Right from the kind of diyas we buy to placing it in an aesthetic way and then getting creative about rangoli designs, I simply love all of this. It truly makes me happy. Also, I am a firecracker person from heart. During childhood, I have burst a lot of firecrackers, especially with my siblings and I used to love it. I still love it. However, with time and awareness, I have reduced the usage of firecrackers by atleast 80%. I have reduced consumption pf firecrackers by almost 80% during Diwali because of the positive awareness around it. Also, last but not the least, this is that time when I don't control myself from eating sweets. So yes, that's the other exciting part. (Smiles).
