EXCLUSIVE! Started Performing On Stage At Age Of 4 As Trained Kathak Dancer: Actress Shweta Rastogi

Actress Shweta Rastogi is a popular name in showbiz. She has been a part of numerous shows and films. Shweta has proved her mettle in the entertainment industry via her amazing acting prowess. However, there's one more skill of the actress that not many people know, which is Shweta Rastogi, being a trained Kathak dancer.

Yes, you read that right! Filmibeat during its exclusive conversation with Shweta learned an interesting fact that the actress is a trained classical dancer and has shared the stage with prominent personalities. The tinsel town diva, while interacting with us, spilled the beans on her training as a Kathak dancer.

Talking about the same, Shweta says,"Yes, I am a trained Kathak dancer and I started performing on stage when I was 4. I have learnt Kathak for 9 years and performed at the same time. For 15 years, I have performed on stage as a solo dancer. I have gone on many international trips to Israel, London, South Africa, Kuwait and many more places. I used to do shows with Bappi Lahiri, Anu Malik, Kalyanji-Anandji, Mahendra Kapoor and many other legendary personalities."

Shweta impressed us with this beautiful skill of hers. Thereafter, she shared what worth dance holds in her life. "Dance is my first love and it will always remain so. Dancing is something that has always kept me alive and it's an inseparable part of mine. It is because of dancing that I can act and can be on stage," she said.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Shweta has been a part of the projects like Kesar, Alif Laila, Mahadev, Siya ke raam, Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki, Palkon Ki Chhaon Mein, Internet wala love and many others. She has also played prominent roles in the bollywood films- Khoon Bhari Maang, Parinda, Ustaad, Kishan Kanhaiya and many others.
