EXCLUSIVE! Ankit Bathla Reveals SPECIAL Reel-Real Life Connection Between His New Show Kundali Milan & London

Ankit Bathla is back with a bang on the small screen with a new show titled Kundali Milan. The Thapki Pyaar Ki star is ready to rule the hearts of the viewers with his performance in the daily soap, which premiered on Shemaroo Umang on Monday (May 29).

Ankit Bathla, who has featured in different shows in his 12-year career, is playing the role of Yash in Kundali Milan. The actor, in an exclusive interaction with Filmibeat, spoke about his new launch and revealed the reason why he gave his nod to the show.

When asked if he took his own sweet time in giving his approval to the show, the handsome hunk said, "I did take some time while saying yes to the show. I had a meeting with Arvind Babbal sir, who is the writer and producer of the show. He explained me the entire story, plot and the special treatment that he planned to give to the show."

"This made me sign the show as I said the story is interesting. A show, coming from a person like Arvind ji, takes the things a notch higher," he added.

ANKIT BATHLA SPECIAL CONNECTION WITH LONDON

Did you know Ankit has a special reel and real life connection between Kundali Milan and London? Remember, he played the role of Dr. Ayaan Kapoor in Krishna Chali London on Star Plus? He spilled the beans on the special connection, stating, "I play the role of an NRI in the show, who returns from London. I have a deep connection with London in real life as I love the city. I visit the British Capital every alternate year. London is very special for me."

"Interestingly, I have earlier played a similar character ( a person who returns from London) in the past. And here I am, once again essaying a role where the lead comes back from London. The city and my new show have a great connection (laughs)," the actor further said.
