As she listed her source of inspiration Ulka first named her role model and that is none other than her father. Yes, you read that right! The Jhansi Ki Raani actress quipped, "My dad is my biggest inspiration. Apart from him there are several actors who has inspired me like Jaya Bachhan, Smita Patil, Sridevi, Vidya Balan, Rani Mukherjee."

She is quite of fond of stalwarts like Rani Mukerji, Vidya Balan, who ruled the box office. The TV diva also expressed her liking for veteran actress like Jaya Bachchan and late Sridevi as she spoke about the artists, who inspired her to work on her craft.

The actress has always shown her desire to work in the film industry and looking at her career graph it is very evident that Ulka is here to rule each and every medium of acting.
