EXCLUSIVE! Here’s The Truth About Lock Upp 2 Replacing Shweta Tiwari’s Main Hoon Aparajita On ZEE TV

Lock Upp 2 Update: Bollywood star Kangana Ranaut is returning very soon with the second season of her successful reality show Lock Upp. The controversial show streamed on MX Player and ALTBalaji last year and turned out to be a huge success.

Now, Lock Upp 2 is rumoured to premiere soon and the makers are said to be in talks with many popular celebrities. There hasn't been any official confirmation yet on the rumored contestants, but there is speculation that Karan Kundrra might not return as the jailer in the upcoming season. This is due to his current commitment to the Colors show Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal.

LOCK UPP 2 ON ZEE TV?

Amid all this, there have been speculations that the creators are in talks with some GECs and want Lock Upp 2 to air on TV. There have been rumours that the show is likely to air on ZEE TV.

The latest reports suggested that Lock Upp might replace Shweta Tiwari and Manav Gohil's Main Hoon Aparajita and will air at 7 pm from April 7.

However, looks like that's not the case. Reacting to it, a sourced dismissed the reports of Main Hoon Aparajita getting replaced by Lock Upp 2.

On being quizzed, the source exclusively told Filmibeat, "Na Na. Nothing like that. Aparajita is not going off air."

However, Shweta Tiwari, makers, and the channel haven't yet reacted to the ongoing speculations.

ABOUT MAIN HOON APARAJITA

The Zee TV show Main Hoon Aparajita chronicles the life of Aparajita (played by Shweta Tiwari), a devoted mother of three daughters. The story delves into how Aparajita prepares her daughters for life's ups and downs after her ex-husband Akshay (Manav Gohil) falls in love with Mohini (Shweta Gulati) outside of their marriage.

Coming back to Lock upp 2, Umar Riaz, Divya Agarwal, Soundarya Sharma, Emiway Bantai among other celebrities are reportedly approached to participate in the much-awaited show but nothing is yet finalised.
