It is said that fathers don't express their feelings and emotions but always showcase their love through gestures. As the world celebrates Father's Day 2023, Filmibeat got in touch with Shahmir Khan aka Rocky From Kyunki Tum Hi Ho and asked him about his special plans for celebrating the day.

Although the talented star is not physically present with his father in Delhi, Shahmir has planned a surprise for him. He went down the memory lane and shared an interesting anecdote from his teenage days in an exclusive interaction with us. Talking to Filmibeat, he revealed that he will be sending a cake along with a sweet gift to his father on the special occasion.

"On this Father's Day, despite the physical distance that separates me from my family in Delhi, I hold my father close to my heart. Instead of our usual dinner outing, I'll be sending him a cake and a special gift to express my love and gratitude. While our show doesn't have a Father's Day special episode, the truth is, we're so caught up in the family politics and drama that we often overlook these positive celebrations," he was quoted saying.

Shahmir further emphasised, "Amidst all the chaos, I've found a fatherly figure in my on-set father, Bhanu, played by Shiva ji. Just like my real father, he's experienced and always guides me, even helping me with my scenes. I truly miss my father, as he has always been supportive. I remember when my 12th results were announced, while my family was concerned about the outcome, my father only cared if I had passed all the subjects. After knowing that I had, he took me out for a celebratory dinner. Till date, he remains my biggest support. Unlike my mother, he may not be as expressive, but he is incredibly proud of me. I love my father dearly".
