EXCLUSIVE! Madirakshi Mundle: Privacy Is What You Make Of It, Not Everything Belongs On Social Media

Madirakshi Mundle says that celebrities need to strike a balance between what they decide to post on social media and what they decide to keep personal. She says that as a celebrity, you need to accept that people will want details on your personal life, but how much to reveal is your choice.

"I think it could be the price of fame. Public figures have always attracted attention by their very nature of being public figures. Privacy is what you make of it. Not everything belongs on social media," she says.

She adds, "I think you have to figure out what you are comfortable with personally. Learn to draw boundaries and stick to them. No one will tell you how to conduct yourself. It is your lookout. And the ones who look out for you and have your back, don't make the mistake of not knowing who they are."

Personal and professional life must be separate, she says, adding, "I strongly feel you should make an effort to balance personal with professional. Learn what's important and learn what can simply be overlooked. Not everything is meant to consume attention and energy. Decide and act accordingly."

The industry has always been considered as the big bad world. Talking about the same, she says, "Since everyone is presumably chasing the same things, fame, success etc it can become hard to figure out the real from the fictional especially when success washes upon and fame sticks to you and everyone wants a piece of you. You should apply caution all the time so as to not lose track of what's real and what isn't."

She adds, "I feel you should start with good faith unless your experiences tell you otherwise. Thankfully, no such bad experiences. You should however also know what to stay away from. I have Jackie Shroff to thank! who gave me some awesome advice when I was starting out. He asked me to always use my judgement and be careful in my dealings with people. Since you never know who is trying to take you for a ride."
