Manasi Parekh, who made her acting debut with MTV's Kitni Mast Hai Zindagi in 2004, has come a long way in her career. In an acting career spanning around two decades, the actress went on to features in various popular TV shows and films.

She has had quite an eventful year with two of the biggest Gujarati hits, one produced under her banner. After headlining various shows like India Calling and Gulaal, she took the regional route and began the year on a high note with two of her critically acclaimed Gujarati films Kutch Express and Congratulations.

As the couples are celebrating the festival of love today (February 14), the actress also shared her unique idea of celebrating Valentine's Day with Filmibeat.

This Valentine's, the actress has planned to unwind & relax after all the madness this year had in store for her. She believes stimulating all five senses is the ideal way to bring in Valentine's with her singer husband Parthiv Gohil.

Manasi excitedly shares, "My idea of romance on a date would be lots and lots of conversation,very good music preferably an open air setting with candles and an incredible meal so that all the senses are stimulated and this would be my ideal date."

Talking about how times have changed and how women shouldn't wait for her Mr. Right and rather take the leap of faith, Manasi added, "I don't think it's true that men should propose, because in my case I was the one who proposed to my husband so I don't think it's a norm nor I follow that norm."

While Manasi is enjoying her stint in the regional cinema, her fans are still waiting for her TV comeback. The actress played her last full-fledged role on TV is Star Plus' Sumit Sambhal Lega in 2016 and hasn't yet announced her next show.
