Young and versatile actress Nandini Sharma, who was last seen in the web series Jaanbaaz Hindustan Ke, has made a splashing entry in the top rated drama Faltu. She made her television debut with the Star Plus show. The talented artist, who playes a prominent character in Faltu, spilled the beans about her prep for the show in an exclusive conversation with Filmibeat.

Nandini shared details about her character, revealing how she prepared to showcase a different side in the daily soap. "I am playing the character of Riya, who is a diplomatic and manipulative girl. She is keen on attaining her goals and the top notch priority in her life is to keep herself safe," she said.

Her role is different that the run-of-the-mill sketches that you seen on television. She added, "My character is strikingly different and I am enjoying essaying it. Riya has a lot of shades and layers in her personality which will unfold gradually."

It's not a cakewalk to play a negative personality in a project. Sharing the challenges she faced while playing this character, Nandini said,"While I have a joyful personality, playing this negative character was a bit difficult initially."

Nandini watched several videos on YouTube to get into the skin of her character and play it perfectly. "My character is completely different from what I am in my real life. However, I tried my best to get into the skin of the character. I watched 'n' number of videos on YouTube of Indian Vamps to find out more about negative characters," she further said.

The actress has received a roaring response from the viewers, who have showered her with love and blessings. Sharing the feedback that she has, she exclusively told us, "The audience are loving my performance in the show. I receive a lot of positive DMs from the viewers of the show, which is truly motivating for me."

Faltu, which airs every day on Star Plus, features Niharika Chouksey and Akash Ahuja in lead roles.
