Sai Ketan Rao On Chashni: After featuring in several South films and web shows, Sai Ketan Rao entered TV with Star Plus' Mehendi Hai Rachne Waali co-starring Shivangi Khedkar in 2021.

With his dashing looks and strong performance, Sai Ketan Rao made his mark with his first Hindi show and fans also loved his onscreen chemistry with Shivangi. Recently, the actor made his TV comeback with Sadiip Sickand's new show Chashni.

Co-starring Amandeep Sidhu and Srishti Singh, Chashni premiered on Star Plus earlier this month and airs at 11 pm daily. The show has been getting a favourable response so far.

In an exclusive conversation with Filmibeat, Sai Ketan Rao talked about the response so far and revealed that he's happy with fans' reactions to Chasni.

Talking about it, Sai Ketan Rao said, "Fans are expecting more of everything, especially me, on screen. They are loving the performance and execution. The response has been quite unusual but overall the audience is hooked."

SAI KETAN RAO ON SHIVANGI KHEDKAR'S RESPONSE TO CHASHNI & HIS ROLE

Sai Ketan Rao shares a great bond with his Mehendi Hai Rachne Waali co-star Shivangi Khedkar. Before the premiere of Chashni, she even wished him luck on social media. On being asked if she reached out to him after watching the newly-launched show, the actor revealed that Shivangi praised his role.

Revealing the same, he stated, "She did greet me and told that you are playing totally different (role) this time and that's so good on screen."

ABOUT SAI KETAN RAO'S NEW SHOW CHASHNI

Sai Ketan Rao plays the lead role of Raunaq Reddy in Chashni which tells the story of two sisters Chandni (Amandeep Sidhu), and firefighter, and Roshni.

The loving bond between sisters, Chandni and Roshni, is marred by an unfortunate incident. However, fate reunites them years later, only to discover that they are now mother-in-law and daughter-in-law to each other. This leads to the beginning of a traditional saas-bahu drama.
