Many youngsters land in Mumbai every day from different parts of the country to fulfill their dreams after fighting a battle at their house because not every parent allow their children to shift base to an unknown city. One such actress whose parents were scared of sending their daughter to the city of dreams is Veronica Verma.

Talking about the same, the actress says, "My journey from Delhi to Mumbai has been no less than a roller-coaster ride. I belong to a non-filmy background and my parents didn't want me to come to Mumbai as they were scared about how I would survive here alone. I can understand that, for any parent, it would be hard to send their daughter so far from them, and that too, in an unknown city. However, I tried my best at convincing them, I told them about my passion and dedication about living my dreams and here I am."

Lastly, revealing whether her parents are proud of her or not, the actress says, "Initially, my parents used to think that I would leave this industry after giving it a try at things, but slowly they realised that I am made for this and cannot do anything else. Today, they are proud of my achievements and seeing them happy makes me feel satisfied."

Veronica is popularly known for her roles in the shows, Santoshi Maa - Sunayein Vrat Kathayein Season 2, Ajooni and Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.
