Aayush Shrivastav's Comeback In Showbiz: The model-turned-actor, who is best known for playing a pivotal role in Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya and Karan Patel's hit Star Plus show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, was away from the limelight for the past five years.

However, the talented star is finally making his comeback into the entertainment industry and has bagged a Telugu film. The project marks his big-screen Tollywood debut and the actor is very excited about it.

After revealing some interesting details about his upcoming film, Aayush also talked about his show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein and his TV comeback plans in an exclusive conversation with Filmibeat.

AAYUSH SHRIVASTAV WASN'T IN TOUCH WITH YEH HAI MOHABBATEIN CO-STARS

On being asked if he was in touch with his Yeh Hai Mohabbatein co-stars during his break, Aayush told us, "No, I wasn't in touch with anyone honestly. Industry changes in a few months, the content dynamics is changing every six months. Keeping in touch while you aren't in the city is a bit difficult and futile. Though I so wished I should have been in touch with everyone but alas, it didn't happen. But I'm sure as I have made a comeback I will try to contact them or resume working on TV, provided I get good roles and something really engrossing and absorbing to play."

AAYUSH SHRIVASTAV TALKS ABOUT HIS TV COMEBACK

Besides bagging the South film, the actor is also looking forward to returning to the small screen. Sharing his thoughts about his TV comeback, Aayush stated, "Hopefully, you will soon be seeing me on TV. I have auditioned for a few roles. But I am still awaiting a response.TV is my first home as I got my first break through it and I am so longing to go back to the sets of television. Fingers crossed and yes hopeful to get back to it soon."

Talking about the producer with whom he would like to work soon, the actor concluded, "I started my career with Balaji and I am grateful to them. I so want to work with the television industry pioneer Ekta (Kapoor) Mam. In OTT, I believe Excel Entertainment has produced some really good and captivating content, which has set a milestone in the given space. I would really like to work with them as well."

For the unversed, Aayush Shrivastav has also featured in other popular shows like Jodha Akbar, Peshwa Bajirao, and 24 season 2.
