Manipur viral video: Fahmaan Khan who's popularly known for his role of Aryan Singh Rathore opposite Sumbul Touqeer in Star Plus' Imlie, expressed his displeasure over the shocking incident in Manipur. He took to social media to share his grief over the horrific case where two women were paraded n*ked in the state.

FAHMAAN KHAN REACTS TO MANIPUR WOMEN VIOLENCE

The Apna Time Aayega star, who has been vocal about his opinions on different issues, didn't mince his words while talking about the shameful incident. He posted a note on his official Twitter handle to condemn violence against two women.

Calling it a 'disgrace' to mankind, the TV heartthrob slammed the culprits, pointing out that India has people from different casts and communities and such incidents are a 'shameful'. "Our country is one that units all cast, communities, and class. We were taught from our childhood to love one another and help each other. This what happened in Manipur is really disheartening and very, very disappointing and a shame to humankind," the Kya Qasoor Hai Amla Ka actor wrote on the micro-blogging site. While a few celebrities including Akshay Kumar, Urfi Javed have reacted to the incident, many Bollywood and TV celebrities have refrained from speaking about it. Fans have lauded Fahmaan Khan for taking the initiative to address the shocking incident in the northeastern state of Manipur. They have said that an artist should speak up about the things that affect society.

On the professional front, Fahmaan Khan is currently seen in DharamPatnii, which airs on Colors channel. The daily soap co-starring Kritika Singh Yadav was recently shifted to the 10pm slot. It now competes with Star Plus' top-rated show starring Rupali Ganguly, Guarav Khanna and Sudhanshu Pandey- Anupamaa.
