FAHMAAN KHAN ON DIFFICULT TIMES AFTER BROTHER FARAAZ KHAN'S DEATH

In a recent interview, Fahmaan talked about how his brother's demise affected him. He also revealed breaking down on his show's set just a day after Faraaz's death.

Recalling the difficult time, Fahmaan told ETimes, "When he passed away, I had gone to Bangalore and it was just one day (of) travel because I was shooting for Apna Time Bhi Aayega. Aur bohot zaroori tha ki mai wapas aake shoot karoon kyunki hamara telecast cut-to-cut chal raha tha. The night that he passed away, in the morning I went to Bangalore and I traveled back the next morning. The next morning, I was back on set."

The actor revealed that things changed when 3 Idiots song, Behti Hawa Sa Tha Wo, was played in the background and he broke down while shooting. He stated, "I knew for the fact that he didn't want us to cry or do anything at least in front of his body. But, jab mai set pe aaya toh ek scene tha mujhe yaad hai. This was just before pack up, pura din shoot kiya masti humne, mazaak wale scene the toh usmei it just went away. But, last mei ek scene tha jaha pe mujhe apne maa ke picture ke saamne khade hoke, I had to just look at it and feel remorse."

WHEN FAHMAAN KHAN BROKE DOWN ON SETS AFTER BROTHER'S DEMISE

"Then the director, Vaibhav Singh, he played the song Behti Hawa Sa Tha Wo. You know, that really screwed me up. Wo jo emotions aae na uss din, wo itne real the kyunki wo gaana galat laga diya unhone mere hisaab se. That situation was very bad, Behti Hawa Sa Tha Wo shouldn't have been there. He didn't say cut also and I just stood there. My eyes were flowing. He came and hugged me from behind, Vaibha Sir, and he said 'jaa, ghar jaa' aur uss raat ko mai bohot roya hoon when I came back home. Because, first time I was alone back home, not in the space where everybody was there. Because, in Bangalore, I had to console everybody. I had to be the stronger person. But, I think, over the years, I've realised now ki small-small things that I keep asking answers for, I think he gives them to me in different ways," Fahmaan concluded.
