SuMaan Update: Fahmaan Khan has consistently grabbed headlines since his portrayal of Aryan Singh Rathore in Imlie alongside Sumbul Touqeer Khan. His performance in this role turned him into a household name, and fans quickly became enamored with the chemistry between him and Sumbul.

Following this, fans passionately supported their pairing as SuMaan, and the two also formed a close friendship during their time working on Imlie. Both Sumbul Touqeer Khan and Fahmaan Khan departed from the popular Star Plus drama last year due to a generational leap.

ISSUES BETWEEN FAHMAAN KHAN & SUMBUL TOUQEER KHAN

While Sumbul ventured into Bigg Boss 16, Fahmaan Khan secured the lead role in Colors TV's Pyar Ke Saat Vachan Dharampatnii. Following Sumbul's exit from BB 16, there were plans for a reunion as they were set to collaborate on a song by Fahmaan's friend, Tabish, titled Beirada. However, Sumbul eventually decided not to feature in it as her father had some issues with Fahmaan.

Earlier this year, Fahmaan confirmed their fallout and the duo has not reconciled since then leaving Sumaan fans sad. In a new interview, the TV star once again opened up about the issues with Sumbul and fans wishing for their reunion.

FAHMAAN KHAN ON ISSUES WITH SUMBUL & SUMAAN REUNION

On being asked about what happened between them after his explosive interview and if he thought about a reconciliation, Fahmaan told Bollywood Bubble, "Hamare beech mei kabhi koi problem tha hi nahi yaar. Sumbul aur mere beech kabhi problem nahi thi na. Woh toh abhi uska alag hi kahani hai, let's not get there (Sumbul's father having issues with him). But, the thing that changed after that is that people understood my side. That's what I wanted eventually. Mai bohot din tak chup tha na aur chup rehne ka matlab ye tha ki mujhe nahi lana ye media ke andar, in public. I was very stupid, I felt, ki mujhe nahi karna hai ye sab cheezein. But, it had to come out kyunki mujhe gaaliyaan bohot padd rahi thi faltu mei. That's why I brought out whatever I had to. That helped in my favour in certain ways. There was a huge parade of things and it didn't stop. It kept coming. Now, everything is just fine."

Well, it looks like both Fahmaan and Sumbul have moved on in their lives separately. However, here's hoping for their reunion at least on the professional front.

On the career front, Sumbul is all set to return to fiction space with the much-awaited Sony TV show Kavya - Ek Jazbaa, Ek Junoon alongside Mishkat Varma. Fahmaan, on the other hand, is busy with Dharampatnii.
