Falaq Naaz’s Sister Shafaq Reveals Her Wedding Was Called Off Days Before Their Engagement: Sadly Our Families

Falaq Naaz and Sheezan Khan have been all over the headlines these days courtesy of their recent reality shows. While Sheezan was recently seen in Khatron Ke Khiladi 13, Falaq is currently grabbing eyeballs with her ongoing stint in Bigg Boss OTT 2. And now, there sister Shafaq Naaz is making heads turn for her personal life.

In her recent interaction with Bombay Times, Shafaq Naaz revealed that her wedding with her Muscat-based businessman beau Zeeshan was called off days before their big day. For the uninitiated, the couple was supposed to tie the knot in May.

It was reported that Shafaq and Zeeshan were in a courtship for over three years and were supposed to have an engagement followed by a court marriage in May. In fact, the families were even process of finalising the date for their big fat Indian wedding.

And now, Shafaq has opened up about the same and revealed what went wrong between the couple and the families. The actress stated, "Marriage involves not just two individuals but also their families. When two families get together, differences can arise. Har family mein shaadi ke time par problems hoti hain aur thoda disagreement rehta hai, especially in the case of love marriages. Sadly, our families, too, had some misunderstandings, but I don't want to blame anyone".

When quizzed if Sheezan Khan's arrest in Tunisha Sharma's death case the reason behind their differences, Shafaq was quick to respond saying that Zeeshan's family was very supporting during the difficult times and made sure to had her back.

She also emphasised that the issues between her and Zeeshan have been resolved and that they are together at the moment. "Marriage is not on the cards this year. Maybe, this isn't the right time. Let's see what the future holds for us," Shafaq added.

As of now, Shafaq is busy rooting for her sister Falaq who is winning hearts with her game on Bigg Boss OTT 2. In fact, Shafaq even graced the stage with Salman Khan as she cheered for her sister on the popular reality show.
