Bigg Boss OTT 2: Elvish Yadav registered his name in history books as he became the first wildcard contestant to win a season of Salman Khan's show. Before him, several wildcard entries including The Great Khali, Rishabh Sinha and Aly Goni entered the finale but could never win the show.

In a historic feat, Elvish Yadav defeated Fukra Insaan to lift the winner's trophy of Bigg Boss OTT 2. The voting trends turned out to be correct as Mr Yadav emerged victorious. He added another feather to his cap, becoming the only wildcard to win Bigg Boss.

It was a battle of YouTubers as Elvish and Abhishek Malhan fought for the top spot. Their fans left no stone unturned to make their favourite win the show. Considering their popularity, the makers opened the voting lines for top two finalists, allowing the viewers to vote for their favourite. The voting lines were opened for only 15 minutes.

Elvish took home a shiny trophy and a cash prize of Rs 25 lakh after winning the show.

Elvish Yadav claimed that JioCinema's head told him he got 280 million votes in 15 minutes during the finale live voting. "Jab sara scene khatam hua aur main andar gaya, toh JioCinema ke head, jo show chalati hai, unhone bola- 'Aapko 280 million votes aaye hai," the 25-year-old was quoted as saying in a viral video.

Abhishek Malhan's brother Nischay Malhan worked hard to ensure that his younger sibling won the show. From conducting interactive sessions to running live streams on his YouTube channel, Triggered Insaan left no stone unturned for his brother. While Abhishek couldn't win the show, fans recognised and applauded Nischay's sincere efforts.

As Elvish won Bigg Boss, Nischay Malhan congratulated him on social media. He posted the message on the occasion of Independence Day 2023 as he was busy sleeping for 16 hours after working round the clock for his brother's Bigg Boss voting.

Guess what? Triggered Insaan confirmed that Elvish Yadav will be his 'future neighbour'. He wrote, "Mere future padosi system bhai ko Bigg Boss jeetne ki bahot bahot badhai." His post went viral on the internet in no time.
