Pooja Dey Says Painting Is A Therapy: Actress Pooja Dey is known for her acting prowess, but not many know that the effervescent actress is a wonderful painter too. Pooja recently took to social media and shared beautiful artwork.

From painting abstract designs to just making amazing colour-filled canvases, Pooja has magic in her hands.

Talking about her love for painting, Pooja says, "Painting for me is a kind of therapy which relaxes my mind and soul. There is so much more to a painting than the colors. It is an experience and expression of art. Painting is a doorway for my imagination to put on canvas. Since childhood, I have been very fond of drawing and painting and, even today, whenever I get time, I paint."

Opening up on the reason to stay away from Television for so long, Pooja Dey recently shared, "I made my acting debut with Dating in the Dark and after that show I seriously had no desire to do a television show. I received numerous offers but the problem with TV is that it is time-consuming. I wasn't ready to play a character on television as it's a long-term commitment. I rejected a lot of offers because I wanted to do something else and not box myself into a character."

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Dey marked her acting debut with web series, Dating in the Dark. She went on to feature in the season fifth of web series Gandii Baat. She also starred in Vikram Bhatt's film 'Sanak'.
