We are talking about Gautam Rode and Pankhuri Awasthy who are expecting their first child now.

The couple made the big announcement with an adorable animated video giving a glimpse of their journey so far - from meeting for the first time to getting married and now starting a new chapter of life. The video was captioned as, "Our family is growing and as we embrace this new phase and prepare ourselves to don these new roles, we seek your blessings and best wishes!" While the video made everyone go aww, the soon to be parents were inundated with best wishes from fans and friends. Several celebs took to the comment section to send best wishes to Gautam and Pankhuri for this new journey. Among these, soon to be mother Gauahar Khan wrote, "Many many congratulations n blessings! For the uninitiated, this happens to be Pankhuri and Gautam's first child. The couple had tied the knot in February 2018 in a grand wedding and ever since then, they have been dishing out major couple goals. They had met on the sets of Suryaputra Karn and didn't have a good first impression of each other. Recalling the same, "He thought I was not girl-like. I thought he was extremely hot and arrogant. But, when I joined the show, we interacted and things started then". Later Gautam was all praises for Pankhuri said that he found her sensible and she did intrigued him when they spoke for the first time.
