Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin Update: Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein, one of the highly successful TV shows, recently underwent a generation leap resulting in the departure of Neil Bhatt and Ayesha Singh. In their place, Shakti Arora and Bhavika Sharma were introduced as the new leads, portraying the characters of Ishaan and Savi, respectively.

Meanwhile, Sumit Singh takes on the role of the parallel lead in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. It's been only a few weeks since the leap took place and the new storyline as well as the casting has been fetching a favourable response.

Especially, lead star Shakti Arora is getting a great response from fans for his performance as Ishaan. However, did you know that he wasn't the first choice for the role? As per the ongoing buzz, the makers of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin were in talks with several known TV stars.

ACTORS WHO REJECTED ISHAAN'S ROLE IN GHUM HAI KISIKEY PYAAR MEIIN

Fahmaan Khan

In June this year, Fahmaan Khan's ongoing Colors show Pyar Ke Saath Vachan Dharampatnii was confirmed to go off-air. During the same time, he was offered the lead role of Ishaan in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. In an interview, the actor even confirmed being in talks with the makers of GHKKPM. However, Dharampatnii then got an extension and Fahmaan chose to continue with it and said 'no' to the hit Star Plus show.

Akash Jagga

Last seen playing the antagonist in Fahmaan Khan and Kritika Singh Yadav's Dharampatnii, Akash Jagga too were reportedly approached to play the lead in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin post leap. However, it looks like thing failed to materialise.

Akshay Dogra

Best known for playing pivotal roles in popular shows like Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon and Waaris among others, Akshay Dogra too was said to be in talks for Ishaan's role. But, even he couldn't bag it for unknown reasons.

Abhishek Nigam

While there were reports that Abhishek Nigam, last seen in the second season of SAB TV's Ali Baba, is approached to play the grown-up Vinayak. According to a Tellychakkar report, he was also said to be in talks for the male lead.

Karan Sharma

Last seen opposite Tanya Sharma in Colors TV's Sasural Simar Ka 2, TV actor Karan Sharma was also said to be in the race to bag Ishaan's part. But, things failed to work out between him and the makers. He later bagged SAB TV's Waghle Ki Duniya.
